Become a Foundation Member

The Aurora Museum Foundation not only works to preserve the past, but also helps the community experience the past through exhibits and activities at the Museum. By becoming a member of the Foundation, you are becoming a part of your community’s heritage. Foundation members volunteer to: preserve and catalog the archive/object collections, and staff the Museum Store Members help educate the public and raise funds for Foundation and Museum Projects.

The Foundation is governed by a 15-member board of Directors, elected by the membership, and is a private, non-profit foundation organized under 501(c)3 federal tax-exempt status.

Benefits of Your Membership
Members of the Aurora Museum Foundation receive the following benefits:
  - subscription to the foundation's quarterly newsletter;
  - special member events;
  - access to Historical Research Library and Archives (by appointment);
  - discount at the Museum Store (books, toys and historical enrichment items).
